Kotare Suite
The Kotare harbour view suite with polished kauri timber floors is a luxury ground floor suite with views across the water. This spacious open plan suite lies in the shadow of the Old Oak, and has its own private entrance. There is a large brick-paved courtyard with a flower bed at the front.
This suite has a super king bed, closet, and sideboard. There is an adjacent lounge area with two comfy sofas, a large 50-in. flat screen smart TV, and coffee table. The suite also has a dining table and chairs and a kitchenette with a sink, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and plunger coffee and tea facilities. The bathroom features a modern vanity and large shower. The Kotare Suite has modern climate controls.

Totara Room
The Totara Studio is a small standard room with a view to the garden and the totem poles built from The Old Oak’s original totara timber footings.
The compact room features high ceilings, double bed, flat screen TV, easy chair, closet, small refrigerator, and coffee and tea making facilities. The bathroom is modern, light, and airy with high ceilings, and shower.
Maximum occupancy is one person.

Tui Studio
The Tui Studio is a large luxury studio featuring the highest ceilings in the hotel. This room offers stained glass French doors that open to a private enclosed garden patio, stylish floor to ceiling drapes, super king bed, flat screen TV, lounge chair, small refrigerator, and tea and plunger coffee facilities.
The very large bathroom features a shower and an ornamental fireplace.
The studio has a modern heating and cooling system.

Kauri Studio
The Kauri Studio is a large luxury studio featuring the kauri mantle that surrounded the original Old Oak cooking fireplace, now framing the headboard. Looking up through the skylight, you can see the original chimney. The room has a super king bed, flat screen TV, two lounge chairs, small refrigerator, and plunger coffee and tea facilities. There is a modern heating and cooling system.
The studio has high board and batten ceilings and a modern bathroom with bathtub and shower above.
A stained glass back door leads to a garden and bush view patio.

Ruru Suite
Our one bedroom suite is upstairs with harbour views from the bedroom, and access to the upper front veranda with its lounge chairs and expansive views. The main bedroom has a king bed, night stands, sleek bedside lamps, and a closet with a colourful glass window.
The cosy central dining area includes a table and chairs, kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and plunger coffee & tea facilities. It includes a small standard bathroom with shower. This suite features a relaxing lounge with built-in sofa, a large ottoman, rocking chair, and flat screen smart TV. The Ruru Suite has modern climate control for heating and cooling.
Maximum occupancy is two persons.
